Helsinki-based producer, songwriter, mix engineer and sound designer.

Eetu Henrik Iivari is a Finnish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and sound designer. As the frontman of the indie rock band The Holy, he has released three critically acclaimed albums and toured extensively across Europe since 2016. Eetu’s songwriting and The Holy’s meticulously crafted sound blend post-punk energy, Springsteen-inspired storytelling, and hypnotic krautrock influences.

Beyond his work with The Holy, Eetu has established himself as a versatile producer, recording engineer, and live mixing engineer. He has collaborated with international acts like Lower Dens (US), Wolf Parade (CAN), and Moonface (CAN), as well as numerous Finnish artists, including Siinai, Joensuu 1685, Lake Jons, Mikko Joensuu, and more.

Eetu’s expertise also extends to sound design, where he has contributed to campaigns and projects for leading global brands and radio programs, showcasing his ability to create dynamic, immersive audio experiences across diverse media platforms.

"I’m deeply in love with the raw, unfiltered feeling of any sound—the magic that makes it real and alive. That’s why I do everything I can to protect and amplify that feeling in every project I work on. I thrive on captivation, saturation, overcompression, wild and splashy effects, overloaded reverbs, lofi distortion, natural ambience, room mics, cranked speakers, and the unpredictable beauty of broken tambourines, amps, and drums.

I draw inspiration from across the spectrum—808s, techno, hip-hop, pop, ambient, neo-classical, contemporary—always chasing that spark that makes music unforgettable. My approach isn’t for everyone or every style, but if you’re ready to go all minimal or heavily overboard and embrace the chaos, I’m here for it."
